The "Beast from the East" has struck and reports of life-threatening events cover the news.
Looking deeper, however, you'll see the calming, de-stressing silver-lining, the Beauty within the Beast.
A chance to stop the busyness of normal daily life which we can be caught up in so much that we fail to see all the good things around us.
Unable to drive anywhere and can't get to work or school. Time to do other things with renewed pleasure that comes with the gift of increased time for leisure.

People all over the UK are
Playing on sledges with the kids
Walking instead of driving
Being more still than usual
Feeding the birds
Practicing more Reiki
Saying Ahhh
Relaxing
Reading
Tidying up their paperwork
Organising
Filing
Getting around to those jobs they haven't had time for
Spending more time with family
Helping neighbours
A significant increase in good deeds done for people in need which reassures us that there is good in everyone.
Personally I've had time to watch the birds feeding for longer while sending distant Reiki to people I know who are in need. Time to walk in the snow with friends. Thursday became the new Friday. Contacting people was easy as they were at home doing their own relaxing thing. Its been lovely, a welcome change to the normal routine.
Beast? no, just a pussy cat really.
